A Sunday of Skating, Laughs, and “Royalty” Moments

This past Sunday was another reminder of why we do what we do at Strong Foundations Mentoring. Tristan and Leo asked if we could hit the Wabash skate park, so we grabbed the boards and headed out for an afternoon of fresh air, tricks, and plenty of laughs.
Both of them pushed themselves, tried new things, and encouraged each other the whole time. Watching them find confidence in something they love is exactly what this program is all about—giving young people space to grow, try, fail, try again, and feel supported through it all.
And of course… after a full day of skating, they declared themselves “royalty.” So naturally, we made a stop at Burger King for a quick bite and to let the kings enjoy their well-earned feast.
These moments—simple, real, and full of personality—are what build trust and create memories that stick with them long after the day is done. Proud of these young men and the effort they put into everything they do.
Building stronger futures, one Sunday at a time. 👑🛹
