A Magical Day at Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch

This past weekend, our Strong Foundations Mentoring family had the opportunity to experience something truly unforgettable — a trip to Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and community partners, our mentees were treated to a brand-new adventure filled with laughter, excitement, and those priceless “first-time” moments we love to create.

From the second we arrived, the energy was contagious. The kids got to meet the famous reindeer up close — feeding them, petting them, and even getting a playful “reindeer kiss” for those brave enough to lean in. Seeing their faces light up with wonder reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

After spending time with the reindeer, the group conquered the pedal kart track, and let’s just say… watching them race each other might have been more exhausting for us than for them! But the laughter echoing through the ranch made every second worth it. Moments like these — where kids get to try something new, have fun, and simply feel like kids — are the heart of what Strong Foundations Mentoring is all about.
