A Night to Remember at Necrosis Haunted House

At Strong Foundations Mentoring, our mission is to guide and support young people as they grow into strong, confident, and responsible individuals. We believe in building relationships through shared experiences — moments that teach teamwork, trust, and resilience while giving our youth a chance to just be kids. Whether it’s community service, outdoor activities, or a fun night out, each event helps strengthen the bonds between mentors and mentees and creates memories that last.

This weekend, our group had an unforgettable experience at Necrosis Haunted House! From start to finish, the energy, excitement, and pure fun were off the charts.

Our kids had been talking about this night for weeks, and Necrosis did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, you could feel the anticipation in the air. The detailed sets, creative special effects, and talented actors made the entire experience feel like we stepped into a movie. Every twist and turn brought a mix of laughter and nervous excitement — some of the kids tried to act tough, but those surprise moments got everyone! It was the perfect balance of scares and smiles.

What stood out most wasn’t just how amazing the haunted house was, but the way the experience brought our group together. You could see the teamwork, encouragement, and care they had for one another. Whether it was one kid reassuring another before entering a dark hallway or everyone laughing together afterward, the night reminded us how powerful shared experiences can be in building confidence and trust.

We want to give a huge thank you to Greg and the entire team at Necrosis Haunted House for donating tickets to make this possible. Opportunities like this are what help keep our program special. Many of our young people don’t often get to experience events like this, and seeing the excitement and joy on their faces made it all worthwhile. These are the kinds of memories that stick — the ones that remind our youth that they are valued, seen, and supported by their community.
